In order to make your Lalegno floor the added value your home deserves, it is important that it is installed correctly. Of course you want to keep the floor in top condition as long as possible and treat it with due care and diligence. If you follow a few rules for protection, cleaning and maintenance, you will enjoy your wonderful wood for longer.

And with Lalegno’s superior range of maintenance products, your wooden floor will remain as good as new.

Finishing untreated floors

Did you choose a Lalegno floor with the term BRUT in its name?

What finish you choose depends on your personal preference, of the room in which it you want to lay the floor and the intensity of use you have in mind.

  • Oil finish
  • Lacquer finish
  • Wax finish

For finishing your unfinished floor, your flooring installer can help you to select the finishing type that best suits your expectations and interior. The number of finishing options and combinations is almost impossible to keep up with. Therefore, it is impossible for Lalegno to test all of them. That means we can offer no guarantees about the final result.

Lalegno also has its own range of finishing options for untreated floors. The range that we propose has been extensively tested on our wooden floors. A correct use of these products will increase the life of your floor considerably.

Extra advice

Sometimes our untreated floors are bought by flooring experts, who make them even more beautiful with their own custom finishes.

So check with your installer if your floor underwent additional treatment.
