Versailles: the flooring of kings

Yes, even kings remodel their homes occasionally! In the 17th century King Louis XIV of France converted the Palace of Versailles near Paris into the magnificent edifice it still is today. He is, among other things, responsible for the very extraordinary flooring that decorates the castle. Versailles floors consist of square panels with a diagonal mesh, framed with oak strips. Such floors are named after the unique castle and are famous, even today.

Versailles Floors may refer to the distant past, but the multilayer versailles floors Lalegno has to offer are by no means forgotten ... Also in contemporary interiors, they look stunning! This obviously explains why they are currently very much in demand.
